Certification
Magnolia Ponds has achievd the status of
CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL POND CONTRACTOR from the
International Professional Pond Contractors Association.
To be certified by IPPCA*, a candidate must
- Pass a Better Business Bureau background search
- Have a minimum of twelve (12) Customer Satisfaction Rating forms filled out and submitted online by customers.
- Proof of appropriate local business license(s).
- Proof of a minimum $1 million General Liability Insurance. If insurance expires the CPPC status will be suspended.
- Pass Certification Exam with a 90% or better score.
- Continue to have customers send in Customer Satisfaction Rating Forms for as long as CPPC status is held. This supplies IPPCA with ongoing valuable customer feed back on a certifired company’s performance in the field.
*IPPCA is a non-political organization. This means it is not beholden to any specific manufacturer. Too often, certifications are given by manufacturers who will certify a company in return for the contractor using their products exclusively. Because of this, you can choose the value of your contractor being certified by brand specific manufacturer. When someone boasts they are certified, find out what their certification actually means. If a contractor uses only one brand of equipment, goes to only the same manufacturer for annual training, and only 'hangs' with contractors of the same organization, they have often limited themselves. A contractor who is captive to one school of thought loses the benefit of research and development of many outstanding manufactuers.
